The Tour

Your club is offering a great opportunity to ride with other club members through some of the most beautiful country in the US.  We’ll ride on back roads through the gold country of Northern California, the mountains and farm country of Oregon and eastern Washington and the wine country of southern British Columbia.  We’ll even have a free day in Vancouver to explore or visit Victoria.

TOUR FEES:  

One week: Bike $50, passenger $25; Two weeks: Bike $175, passenger $50. (Increase in fee due gas prices.)

A 30 day cancellation notice is required with a $25 cancellation/processing fee being retained by the BMWCOSC.  After 30 days, no refunds will be processed.

NATIONAL PARKSWe will go through several State and/or National Parks.  A one year Federal Pass is recommended to save money entering National Parks,

CANADA:  Those entering and exiting Canada & USA will need a valid passport, driver’s license, vehicle registration and proof of insurance.  

 TOUR REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES:  

All trip meetings, special souvenir ride tee shirt, bound photo/route map book, chase van/sag wagon with on-board beverages & snacks, battery charger, tools, first-aid, emergency gas, emergency bike trailer and butt relief for pilots or passengers when necessary. 

All materials will be handed out at a coffee and dessert trip orientation and luggage collection on Aug. 30, 2008 at 2 PM at the Lamishaw house, 20353 Enadia Way, Winnetka, CA 91306.  Luggage going into the van is limited to one airline carry-on size bag per person.  Don’t forget to pack rain gear on your bike.  Retrieval of luggage on return is at Lamishaw’s house evenings after 6 to Sat. Sept. 27 or on Sunday, Sept. 28th at 2 PM.
